Apple Picking AdventureHello Bentley Graduate Students!
Escape the books and join the GSA for a classic autumn afternoon of Pick-Your-Own Apple Picking at Douglas Orchard & Farm! EVENT DETAILS - WHO: Bentley Graduate Students (Hosted by the GSA) - WHEN: Saturday, October 11th - TIME: Picking starts at 11:00 AM - WHERE: Douglas Orchard & Farm WHY YOU SHOULD COME The farm is known for its focus on healthy, sustainable produce: - Healthier Fruit: Pick unique, minimally-sprayed apples grown with fewer chemicals! - Farm Goodies: Visit the Country Store for their famous fresh cider donuts and pressed cider (available for purchase). - Relax & Connect: Enjoy the scenic farm animals and socialize with your peers! LOGISTICS & RSVP Personal Purchases: Please bring cash or card for your bag of apples (required for picking) and any treats you wish to purchase from the Country Store (cider, donuts, etc.). - TRANSPORTATION: Details (meeting time/location) will be announced and emailed later this week. - RSVP is required to secure your spot and transportation! |
